Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Dough: Roll out the croissant dough and separate it into triangles or rectangles, depending on the design.
  • Make the Cookie Dough: In a mixing bowl, cream the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth. Stir in the flour, baking soda, salt, and chocolate chips to form a soft dough.
  • Fill the Croissants: Place a small scoop of cookie dough onto each piece of croissant dough. Fold the dough over the cookie dough and seal the edges.
  • Bake: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange the filled dough pieces on a lined baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Cool and Decorate: Allow the crookies to cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar or drizzling with melted chocolate.
