- 1 medium head of cabbage chopped
- 1 cup uncooked rice
- 1 can 14.5 oz diced tomatoes
- 1 can 6 oz tomato paste
- 4 cups beef broth
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 bay leaf
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar optional, for tang

Prepare the vegetables: Chop the cabbage, onion, and garlic. Set aside.
Cook the beef: In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess fat if needed.
