Ingredients
  

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 lb ground beef or Italian sausage
  • 1 teaspoon salt adjust to taste
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika optional
  • 1 24 oz jar marinara sauce
  • 3 cups beef broth or water
  • 1 14 oz can diced tomatoes, with juices
  • 12 oz spaghetti broken in half
  • ½ cup whole milk or heavy cream optional, for richness
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh basil or parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Sauté the Aromatics
  • Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  • Add onions and garlic, sauté until softened (about 2 minutes).
  • Cook the Meat
  • Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon.
  • Season with salt, black pepper, Italian seasoning, and smoked paprika.
  • Build the Sauce
  • Stir in marinara sauce, diced tomatoes, and beef broth. Bring to a simmer.
  • Cook the Pasta
  • Add spaghetti, making sure it’s submerged in the sauce.
  • Cover and cook for 12-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender.
  • Finish And Serve
  • Stir in milk or heavy cream for extra richness (optional).
  • Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and garnish with fresh basil or parsley.
  • Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • Make it spicy : Add red pepper flakes or use spicy Italian sausage.
  • Lighter version: Swap ground turkey for beef.
