Instructions
 

  • Preheat And Prep:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • Make the Dough:
  • In a large bowl, beat butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy (2 minutes).
  • Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
  • Mix Dry Ingredients:
  • In another bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually add to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  • Add Chocolate And Cereal:
  • Fold in chocolate chips and Rice Krispies cereal, being careful not to crush the cereal.
  • Shape And Bake:
  • Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing 2 inches apart.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
  • Let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
