  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
  • For the Sauce:
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup sundried tomatoes chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch to thicken, if needed
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • For Garnish And Serving:
  • Fresh basil or parsley chopped
  • Extra grated Parmesan
  • Serve with pasta rice, or mashed potatoes

Instructions
 

  • Step 1: Season And Sear the Chicken (Optional)
  • Pat chicken dry and season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and paprika.
  • (Optional) Sear the chicken in a pan with a little butter over medium heat for 2-3 minutes per side to lock in flavor.
  • Step 2: Add Everything to the Crockpot
  • Place chicken in the slow cooker.
  • Add chicken broth, heavy cream, Parmesan, sundried tomatoes, minced garlic, and red pepper flakes.
  • Step 3: Slow Cook
  • Cover and cook on:
  • LOW for 5-6 hours OR
  • HIGH for 3-4 hours
  • If the sauce is too thin, mix 1 teaspoon cornstarch + 1 tablespoon water and stir into the crockpot.
  • Step 4: Finish And Serve
  • Stir in butter for extra richness.
  • Serve over pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes.
  • Garnish with fresh basil and extra Parmesan. Enjoy!
