  • ½ teaspoon salt more to taste
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning optional
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper optional, for spice

  • Step 1: Prepare the Potatoes
  • Wash and scrub potatoes. Cut into even-sized wedges.
  • Soak in cold water for 15-20 minutes (removes excess starch for extra crispiness).
  • Drain and pat dry with a towel.
  • Step 2: Season the Wedges
  • In a large bowl, toss potato wedges with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, salt, pepper, and cayenne.
  • (Optional) Add Parmesan cheese for extra crispiness.
  • Step 3: Air Fry the Wedges
  • Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.
  • Place potato wedges in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  • Air fry for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until golden and crispy.
  • Step 4: Serve And Enjoy!
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with ranch, ketchup, or garlic aioli.

Notes

  • Extra crispy? Air fry 5 more minutes.
  • No air fryer? Bake at 425°F (220°C) for 35-40 minutes, flipping halfway.
  • Want them spicier? Add red pepper flakes or chili powder.
