How to Make Perfect Fried Ravioli at Home

- 1 9-12 oz package cheese or meat-filled ravioli (fresh or refrigerated)
- 1 cup Italian-style breadcrumbs
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon dried oregano
- ½ teaspoon dried basil
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons milk
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- Vegetable oil for frying
- For Serving:
- Marinara sauce for dipping
- Grated Parmesan & chopped parsley for garnish
Step 1: Prep the Breading Stations
In one shallow bowl, add flour.
In a second bowl, whisk together eggs and milk.
In a third bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, and basil.
Step 2: Coat the Ravioli
Dip each ravioli into the flour, then into the egg mixture, and finally coat with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
Step 3: Fry Until Golden
Heat about 2 inches of vegetable oil in a deep skillet or pot over 350°F (175°C).
Fry ravioli in batches for 1-2 minutes per side, until golden brown and crispy.
Remove and drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
