  • 4 plain bagels halved
  • 3/4 cup pizza sauce or marinara
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese optional
  • 1/2 cup pepperoni slices mini or regular (or any toppings you like)
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tbsp olive oil optional, for brushing

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment or foil.
  • Split the bagels in half and place them cut-side up on the baking sheet. For crispier bagels, brush lightly with olive oil and toast them for 3–4 minutes before adding toppings.
  • Spread a spoonful of pizza sauce over each bagel half.
  • Top with shredded mozzarella, then sprinkle on Parmesan and Italian seasoning.
  • Add your favorite toppings (pepperoni, olives, mushrooms, bell peppers, etc.).
  • Bake for 8–10 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Optional: Broil for 1–2 minutes for golden tops. Keep a close eye!
  • Cool slightly, then serve hot.

Notes

  • Make them in an air fryer at 375°F for 5–6 minutes.
  • Use whole wheat or everything bagels for extra flavor.
  • Great freezer-friendly snack! Assemble, freeze, and bake straight from frozen (add 2–3 mins to bake time).
  • Serve with a side of marinara for dipping or a salad for a light meal.
