- 1 lb pizza dough store-bought or homemade
- 1/4 cup pizza sauce or marinara optional inside, or serve on the side
- 6 slices genoa salami
- 6 slices capicola or ham
- 6 slices pepperoni
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded provolone or Italian cheese blend
- 1 egg beaten (for egg wash)
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
- Optional: red pepper flakes fresh basil, or banana peppers inside
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
On a floured surface, roll out pizza dough into a large rectangle (about 10x14 inches).
Layer meats and cheeses lengthwise down the center of the dough, leaving a 1-inch border on all sides.
(Optional) Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce over the meats or just reserve it for dipping.
Sprinkle with Italian seasoning and red pepper flakes, if using.
Fold the sides of the dough over the filling, then roll from the long side into a log. Pinch the seams and tuck in the ends to seal.
Carefully transfer stromboli to baking sheet, seam-side down. Brush with egg wash, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and a little more Italian seasoning.
Cut 3–4 slits on top to let steam escape.
Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
Let cool for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve with warm marinara or pizza sauce for dipping.
